Watching CULT KILLER, we are at ground-zero seeing the fruit of the FAMILY's unhealthy power center, witnessing an impassioned survivor—the chosen son--Ricky, who has mere hours to live, explain the effects of the FAMILY’s fanaticism on his body and mind.

Ricky exposes the false sex-obsessed 'GOD' and the Selfish Cult Guru of the FAMILY, as well as the pedophile-leadership and manipulating wife/mother who encouraged Berg's dirty old man sex fantasies. We see that Ricky is not the fruit of an enlightened spiritual revolution but the abused son of an old man and his strange second wife who believed in mindless sexual procreation and used any means to obsessively promote this idea--even pushing their own child, and many children, into a life of adult sexual fantasy.

Through Ricky and others in the documentary we see the gospel of this depressing 'GOD' and his prophet up close and personal.

We learn that the 'GOD' of the FAMILY isn't Yahweh or the Christian God of love--This God and guru are like Mother Nature run amock.

The Family God, Berg, and Zerby demand procreation--whether weeds or fruits--anything--this god doesn't care--not for our safety, education, retirement, or any aspect of our earthly future other than we procreate incessantly (It's Mother Nature's first commandment, too!!). Nature only wants fruit and growth in the midst of every decaying thing, and so does this God--what's the difference?

In the documentary we see painfully how Ricky went to the heart of darkness of the Family and faced the abyss left by this CULT GOD, Berg, Zerby, Kelly, and the leadership-clan of sycophants.

What does the great Chosen-FAMILY do to participate in the documentary? Nothing. Nothing always comes from nothing. The Family leadership chooses to remain self-righteously silent in the face of the heart-wrenching honesty of Ricky and others in the documentary...all because of the leadership's blindness to reality and deafness to honesty. They seem to think that they have the Ultimate Truth after all, and have no need to concern them selves with every little thing that happens.

Yes, regretfully, sadly, horribly, a harrowing crime was committed with the loss of Ricky and Angela--If you go according to the ten commandments, society's laws, customs, or just follow the thinking of any sane human being--it was an unbelievable nightmare that happened...Who doesn't think that what happened was a tragic and too-terrible loss?

But ask yourself--wasn't it Berg, Zerby, Kelly and the leadership flunkies who incessantly taught Ricky, Davida, and every cult member to ignore certain commandments and society's laws whenever it suited Berg’s interpretation of Scripture, the CULT, or the purposes of this silly god of mindless procreation...many little disobediences add up, finally, to a big one…

If Ricky was alive, he would have been an incredible blessing, strength, and a powerful spokesperson for the cult survivors, and would have been the key figure in every court case, news article, and TV interview, refuting the lies of self-serving academics and sociologists who'll say anything for a buck, or worse...but who among us could really help Ricky in his pain and mental torture?

We have all been infected and exposed to the SICKLY FALL-OUT of the FAMILY Doctrines and practices, we are ourselves struggling to recover our own body parts and emotional and mental remnents...leaving Ricky alone to fight the dark inertia of the FAMILY by the FAMILY's own rules of breaking God's commandments and society's laws when it suits a higher purpose...

I only hope the honesty of the survivors who remain can counter the deceptive and cunning Ultimate Truth of the Family that is the source of a debilitating DARK INERTIA.
