The boys aren't much better off. Some are sodomized by older men, sometimes gang-raped, and when they reach their teens they are abandoned in large cities without money or education because they are in direct competition for the young girls that the older men want for themselves.
Many of the girls are underaged when they are forced-married to older men with many wives. I believe one of the charges against Jeffs is statutory rape or facilitating such rape. It will also be interesting to see if he and his cronies are charged under the Mann Act for transporting girls, for sexual purposes, across state and national borders.
