I'm still agitated. This is the first time I've seen Davida speak on camera. Holy Cow--it's amazing she lives and copes as well as she does.
It galls me that TFI spokespersons will point to former members like Davida and say, "Well, she's a drug addicts and works in the sex industry, so she has no credibility." Anyone who knows anything at all about childhood abuse knows that Davida's current lifestyle totally fits the adult profile of childhood abuse suvivors. In other words, the psycho-social conditions that TFI uses to discredit their victims are the very conditions we know to be a direct consequence of prolonged childhood abuse.
