Your email was sent 06/27/06 at 6:43 am - Central. I replied to it at 5:00 PM the same day (yesterday). By your questions I assume you haven't read it yet (?).
Yeah--I realized after I sent my answer to you, WC, that I did use a legal name of another exer, when I posted at http://www.exfamily.org/chatbbs/genx/posts/26497.htm, and then I quoted verbatim "Marlene's/Faithful Little One's" story, which is on your webpage.
Marlene and I are in fairly close and regular contact.
All I'll have to do is replace his legal name, which I did use and Marlene didn't, with "a brother", or "this one individual I knew" or something else innocuous to his privacy.
As I said in another email, though, "this one individual I knew" did make "middle management" leadership in Europe, kind of like JLM, and misrepresented to you the amount of time he spent in TF, and so on--he outright lied to you, in fact, in his complaint about me daring to use his name here.
His involvement in TF was very similar to JLM, then, and what he does now is very similar to Tim Peters, except that his fundraising for his Romanian orphanage is from, and the major PR promo for, a different cult--an offshoot of the Jehovah Witness cult--a very high demand group, especially in Eastern Europe. When people join them, especially in former Soviet countries, they burn all their bridges, and what happens then to them is similar to what happened to most of us TF exers, socially and economically--all efforts and funds go to the cult--in effect just another religious hustle like TF, without the blatant sexual and direct torture abuse.
Of course, it would be up to your own discretion, as to deciding who was a leader, and who was a follower, regading exposing them. Christian doctrine (see Eph 5:11, Mt 18:14-17, etc.--for still-Christian GeneXer posters) does require one to at least expose the heresies and human abuse.
And, as I mentioned in my email response to you, WC, libel can only be prosecuted with proof that whatever is written about an individual is false, and I can easily prove what I wrote about "this one individual I knew".
I am sure that you have learned how to protect your webpage and yourself legally, along those lines.
Do you mean old "Chain" leaders, WS people only, or something more specific, where you have written that certain leaders should be exposed?
I think I mentioned, over the time I've been posting, another person by both his "Bible name", "Jeho", as well as a more modern English name--whether that was a real "legal name" or no, I have no way of knowing.
It was in Caracas, Venezuela, and the guy was a pimp of children--no escaping that fact--you do agree that that is serious enough to expose, regardless of whom it is, don't you?
As moonshiner pointed out recently, there are places where that kind of thing is prosecuted with all haste, and then the death penalty is invoked--several Southern states in the US; in fact, as well as other places in the world.
After thinking it over, I do agree with your policy--I was just thinking over some of the finer points.
Go ahead and email me the instructions for what you asked. If I still feel I should continue to expose "this one individual I knew" I'l go to an ex-JW page.
Some "outings" are more publically conscientious than others; I suppose. Total expectation of privacy decreases daily in the information age, and it is arguably not a right in all circumstances, IMHO. Like Beretta said, "If you can't do the time, then don't do the crime".
I personally believe that all criminals should be prosecuted, as well as punished to the full extent of the law, especially where the sexualization and torture of children is involved; regardless--guilty is guilty; criminally and civillly speaking.
Most JWs aren't known to be sex perverts, but they do highly control people's lives, discourage education, let some of their adult members and their children die instead of allowing them life-saving blood products, and they are sociologically at the high end of data on subjugation of females and wife-beating/male supremacy--facts are facts.
