Regardless of the great deal of control top Family leaders undoubtedly have over it, Activated Ministries *is* a separate entity from the Family itself. And unlike FCF, which frequently lies about its connections to the Family, Activated Ministries is rather open about the fact that they nearly exclusively provide support to members of the Family, and that many of their members are members of the Family.
