I can see you understand what I am trying to say with respect to our [the readers] attitude towards both sides of a story. Not because of our like or dislike of some people the views and more importantly the experiences of others are invalidated. And we should keep it factual.
Maybe those people have now changed so much and have so totally repented that you will be compelled to change something - but that is up to them and you.
Believe me that if I had a clue as to where those people are I would not hesitate to tell you so that you - and maybe them, can look for closure to this episode.
