Good old Phineas and Rebecca with their bickering children. The eldest was Jonas and I hear he's a big leader now. They had a severely handicapped child whom Phin took to Florida and abandoned so that he could do the "Lord's work" as he explained it. Inseparable as they were, he was forcibly separated from her to be broken. Phin was a bit wierd, but I sure appreciated his wicked sense of humor.
