It's often the case that there are just enuf cosmetic, surface changes in Family policy that TF supporters/defenders can say, Ha! you're out of touch, out of date. For the REAL scoop on how we grab members' money you should rejoin the Family to find out. I'm making a joke of the position, obviously, but that's basically it. Even a slight change in policy & they'll deny a 35-year ingrained mindset.
Mind you, I'm aware that TF members have somewhat more autonomy & control over finances these days, but the basic mindset is the same.
