Is your DID responsible for your refusal to make a simple acknowledgement that you got it wrong and you went too far?
Is DID responsible for making you unashamedly continue talking about DID?
Are you disassociating yourself from the need to face your mistake, apologize and retract your statements?
Or is that plain old bull-headed Jim who never apologizes?
