You make an excellent point, and I'll admit I haven't carefully analyzed Peters' self-promoting publicity. I also know very little about the church in S. Korea; what I do know is that the S. Koreans are quite advanced in the area of child welfare policy and practice. I may have given Peters too much credit for protecting and educating his daughter, as it is also likely that a culture with extremely motivated, industrious, zealous people isn't inclined to look the other way when kids don't go to school or live in communities that distribute pornographic literature.
