I've been following the polygamist cult story for a while. Interesting that Jeffs made it on the FBI's most wanted list, isn't it?
Seems to me the big difference between Jeffs & Berg/Zerb & Co. is that Jeffs built his empire within a stable geographic location, whereas TFI is a highly mobile, international flee-bag cult that has an end-time theology for eluding justice built into the organization.
One would hope that the FBI learns from its mistakes at Waco and doesn't go there again with Jeffs & Co. As long as Zerb & Co. reside outside the U.S., it will be difficult for the FBI to go after them. Nevertheless, the FBI's willingness to take on Jeffs might set a precedent that has legal ramifications for TFI's criminal leadership down the road. We can hope.
