My leader is not the cult or anyone else. I am now responsible for myself. Sure, I consider Maria and Peter to be criminal as well as some major perps that have been written about. I don't agree though that Family members see themselves as aiding and abetting criminals while they are in the Family for the most part anyway.
That was my point. And most aren't around Maria and Peter. Sure there are weird letters and doctrines. I think exposing them is great and that has been and is being done.
I think exposing the weird doctrines and the top leadership is a good thing. I do pay attention though when someone I trust says they personally know the people concerned and their SG children or adult children. I think that person is very articulate and mature and I trust her judgement and don't see her as someone who is easily deceived. I am not in the family, not sympathetic to it in any way shape or form.
But I do remember what it was like to be in it and the process that it took to get that thinking out of me, also the rationalizations.
I don't think it is legitimate to compare the Family as a whole to Pol Pot as far as crime goes though there are certainly some notorious abusers.
So, back to the viewpoint you have, do you think Love's Bridge should be exposed, should we all write to Russian authorities to expose it? If they get FCF funds or are still listed with FCF logo?
