It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Well... mostly the worst.
NDN Crossfire was probably the most volitile ex-member forum ever. We closed it in 2004 because we just couldn't take it anymore.
But over the course of three years, over 36,000 messages were written, and a lot of people travelled through, and said a lot of things.
Recently, we upgraded our web hosting account and increased our available disk space by five times.
I found some old backups of NDN and put Crossfire back on the server in archive format. This format only allows searches. You can not reply to a message or write a new one.
I was hoping that we could use some of the messages for information and quotes in articles at xFamily.org.
Some of the things said in there, years ago, might be embarrassing to certain individuals, myself included. But, people do move on. This is a record of where a lot of us where back then, before and during the time this website was being formed. In fact, many of the people active here, were regular Crossfire users.
