Good question! That's one reason I got interested in them, because they seem so much like exfamily. They've had a fair amount of coverage by a number of different media organizations, and no dirty laundry has come out yet. The fact that Jim Bob was an Arkansas state legislator tends to make me think they're the real deal. Holding an elected office usually means the person has extensive family & community ties.
