Hello,
Just to give you my resume if it really does make any difference to you. I was not a BIG LEADER in the family. Is that enough? Paul is a an old friend of mine since I first joined. It was actually at a fellowship when we met again and he wanted to let me know how the case had panned out in the end. Is that enough for you? Probably not! Who else cares anyway?
I have lived with two different families whose children were part of the final financial outcome of the raids. Everyone could have stayed in Sydney to fight for their own money if they wanted to or they could have someone do it for them. Like a class action if you will. That is what happened. For what it's worth Paul and Joy did not receive a cent for all of the work they put into the whole case. (I can hear the groans already) Although you will probably choke on that, it's true. All the money that was given out was put directly into the children's bank accounts, and not even given to the parents. A good thing if you ask me.
