"I was living in Taiwan. In the city we lived in there was a doctor who offered to every member in the city free medical treatment. Be it x-rays, blood tests and general care, plus medicine. (say whatever you like about the F abusing doctors or misleading them etc....this doctor was a regular visitor to our home and offered his help)We were free to visit him without fear of costs."
I think it would be wise if the Family made a concerted effort to get more medical contacts like that, not that I want to see the Family as an organization prosper, but because then individual members could get at least basic medical care and like JSP says below, do preventative stuff, and detect medical problems early.
In the early days I've known an effort being made to provision dental contacts and they were a real life-saver at times.
