I agree, I think that ultimately the 'roots of guilt' are in there, and no matter what comes out in black and white these days, there's certain things you will always feel a twinge of guilt, or will always feel that if the law or the world wasn't different, they'd still be doing it the same old way. Some things just don't go away, unless you totally and completely change your life and your thinking.
People who are really trying to be totally dedicated will feel guilty for going 'against' the Mo Letters by, using birth control, going to the doctor, not having sex with whomever asks you for it, ... the list goes on.
But at least the Charter did set things in print so people who aren't so dedicated can use the Charter to absolve them from guilt, but then, eventually they will probably leave cause they know in their hearts they aren't the 110%ers.
