I've never taken any of those drugs. But, I've had people in my life that did. What I've observed is that some people will take them until they feel better, then abruptly stop. I've watched a couple of people go absolutely crazy like that. Then they get back on it, and act normal again.
I was off work one day and had a call from the office that one of the employees was acting crazy and frightening everyone. He happened to be a someone I knew well, and had gone to high school with. I called him up and he really was foaming at the mouth. I asked him if he had stopped taking his "medication". He yelled at me (his boss), and denied it. I told him to go home and get his act together.
When he came back, he admitted he was off his meds. That cycle kept on happening with him, and when he was like that it wouldn't have surprised me if he killed himself or somebody else.
He only started taking it during a divorce. Before that he was as normal as anybody else. I just think that maybe they were a little quick to put him on the drugs (Zoloft, and later Paxil), for stress that most people just have to deal with. Then he just wouldn't take them as prescribed and it seemed to really screw up his brain chemistry.
I see the same exact pattern with another person close to me in my life right now.
