I also live in Texas and have been out of the Family for decades having left at the age of 30 when my kids were small. I am not financially able to help but I do know of different ins and outs of getting help in Texas if you are in this state.
I think a number of people would like to be supportive to those that are not "high profile" survivors of the cult but just don't know who needs help or what they need help with and many are limited in ways they can help. I do know a lot about resources for assistance of all kinds.
It may seem small (offering to help find local resources), but I know when you are hurting it is hard to search for help when you don't even know where to go to reach out for it and barely have the energy even if you did know.
You may already be getting what you need in this way via your peers, Safe Passgage Foundation etc. I don't know, but if I can be of help please let me know.
