This is your disease talking. You can let it kick your ass, or you can fight back. I don't know if those who injured you so badly will be brought to justice in this life. That is pretty much beyond our control at this point. But you don't have to let them continue to hurt you by making self-destructive choices. That's the difference between back then and now. You KNOW that you have the power to choose, even if you don't always believe in your own will to power. If you don't want to sleep with that ugly son-of-a-bitch Despair tonight, you can choose to do something different. Like go to a meeting.
