I didn't send Jo's kids out of the country. There may have been plenty I could have done to thwart such an action- if I had known about it. Again, the fault over anything and all things that happened to children, while their parents were in TFI, remain squarely in the hands of those children's parents. I'm not saying that the crimes committed against these children were directly committed by their parents. Parents should do all that they can to protect their children, and sometimes its not possible to do so, I understand that. This is a distinction that I believe is very necessary to see.
Now, I don't know, and I've stated below, that I do not know the particular reasons why Jo didn't leave the COG when this incident happened to her children. My ex-wife may have been the leader who made the decision to remove Jo's children, and as much as I am disjusted with my ex-wife, and as much as I am willing to give Jo the benefit of the doubt- that is blieving her account without a discussion with my ex-wife about it, I still can't understand why Jo remained. Maybe it was for some very good reasons, so stating that I can't understand why she would remain is not necessarily a judgement about it. If she did so to secure the whereabouts of her other children- then good on her. Again, the statements I have always made about the responsibility of harm caused to children while held captive in TFI has ultimately to rest in the hands of their parents. I am not judging their parents, I am stating where I believe the ultimate responsibility for a child should rest.
