Jim says he didn't actively participate in his wife's decision, and therefore he isn't responsible for what occurred in Jo's case. I guess he's not familiar with the concept "sins of omission"--as in, failing to act and do the right thing when a crime is committed such the abduction of a child over the protests of its mother. Perry has also posted on a legal concept of negligence that has to do with failing to know what's going on when you're in a position of responsibility and should know. Apparently, Jim doesn't read posts that aren't primarily about him or he'd realise how stupid he sounds spouting lame excuses about lack of personal responsibility for participating in a criminal cult as one of its leaders.
