It looks like Jim's got found another persuasion tactic on how to control a discussion frame. This latest tactic is called, "Let's talk about it. Tell me all about when you saw me do it." Then he'll give you a lot of reasons why you're perceptions are mistaken, because it was certainly never his intention to be pushy and aggressive or even ask exmembers if they were abusers. No, you just misunderstood, because he never did what you claim as the basis for your perceptions.
Master manipulator? Yes. Just remember, you are under no obligation to substantiate your feelings & perceptions by discussing evidence of Jim's bad behavior with him in any detail. Until Jim responds to people with, "Tell me how to avoid annoying or offending you?" rather than, "Explain me exactly what did I do to annoy or offend you?", he will be able to control the discussion frame so that it's always about HIM and never about you, your feelings & perceptions, and what he needs to do in order to respect your space.
