I don't have any hard feelings personally toward Jim but I recognize (and Jim should recognize) that he has offended quite a number of people in the past by his aggressive "pushing." People who resent the way they were treated not so long ago may want to call Jim to task now.
I'm not saying you have any particular issues with Jim, but there are people who do.
