It does concern me that Mother Eve(Jane) wanted to write the truth before she died, and if indeed she did and Stephen talked her out of it. Why?
We could all die at any time, but I think she stands the biggest chance of going first. She should be concerned about what she is leaving behind her. She should be concerned about really REPENTING before she dies. FOR HER OWN SAKE, as well as others.
If Stephen talked her out of it then WHERE IS HE AT? DENIAL.
My concern about Stephen talking Jane out of telling the truth about Berg would be LOSING THE MONEY MARIA SENDS THEM IN ROYALTIES. Stephen does have a lot of kids? How is he supporting them. Of his website? I don't know that, but it makes me wonder.
Jane knows, she has to know how messed up her daughter Faithy is. That has to be a true pain to her. She cannot deny that.
I heard that before Sarah and Alfred fled the country after Ricky's suicide and murder and the investigation in San Diego that Sarah was taking care of Faithy who lives with a Vodka bottle 24/7. Why? Because she can't live with what happened to her life? She had so many men. So many really good men. And now her glory days are behind her, and she has to face her old age without what she should have had. Big Josh really loved her. She must have broke his heart.
Deborah was at least smart enough to grab onto a good guy to take care of her family when she could and be smart enough to stick with him, and not cheat on him and lose him. Whatever one might say of Bill, the man has been a father and real hard worker to care for his family.
But Deb was able to break from the sexual abuse of her Father, and normalize her life. Faithy was never able to do that. And look at how she ended up? Sad story.
Jane knows it is a sad story. I guess because she is so old. Facing too much reality at that age might cause a heart attack. But this is her daughter. Faithy is the fruit of what Berg did to her. He turned his beautiful daughter into a whore who was uncapable of loving anyone. Berg turned many beautiful women into whores. Many managed to repent of it and turn their lives around. The damage to the soul from such abuse.
I imagine Faithy can only drink away the pain. It might be more than the human mind can bear without cracking. She really needs therapy. But it would take years and years. I'm not a therapist, but get real.
It would be healing for Jane to speak up. But how. Jane was never a really mean person. Jane is even capable of apology. SOME OF THE BERGS HAVE NOT APOLOGIZED TO THOSE THEY DEEPLY HURT. OR THEY APOLOGIZED SELECTIVELY TO THOSE THEY STILL WANTED AS FRIENDS. But Jane is not a sociopath who cannot apologize to the people she hurt. She has apologized to people. Berg just tore that poor woman who really loved Jesus to pieces and out of her mind, at least a good part of it. Jane is not Berg. She is messed up. But she is not an evil, evil person.
But she is wront in sympathizing with Maria in the pain that drove Ricky to murder and suicide. But maybe she hasn't been able to acknowledge that Berg did the same thing to Aaron. To deny what Berg did to Aaron seems to be something she can't deal with.
These are her kids Berg destroyed. Then went on to destroy an whole other generation. Poor lady. One can only feel sorry for her. Berg destroyed her.
