I remember hearing that quote at the time the letter came out. It's not something you can easily forget. I remember thinking then, 'What does Dad mean when he says he's written enough about it already, BUT... The obvious conclusion was that he was referring to the Davidito book & thus condoning child/adult sex. Unlike you, I didn't talk about the quote with others -- maybe because I was in a home of mostly singles at the time & it wasn't happening there, so it was soon forgotten.
