I met Steven David back in 1972, and of course when he and Mother Eve semi-separated from the Family during the Chain days, he was still with her. They had that whole outfit going down in Malta and Tunisia, grabbing regular Family members and making them part of their Team. They had quite a little following until Berg finally said enough and most of their Team re-entered the mainstream Family and Eve and John and Steven all kept going merrily their own way.
Eve got away with a lot because she was David Berg's ex. She had what she proudly called "Mother's Ministry of Meddling" which as Acheick said, included going around breaking up marriages, stealing Mene, etc.
