susie, I wonder if that's the same Luke who was in the home I joined in '72. He used the last name Space or Spaceman then, something like that cuz he was a bit spacey, and spoke with a sort of a drawl. He was blond and 18, I remember, because he and I were the only teens and got an extra ration of protein each day because of that.
Back then people here in NA were heading off all over the world, some times just briefly passing through the home I happened to be in. I remember several Canadians in those early years who went to Australia because of the commonwealth ties. Now that I think of it, it's very likely the Luke I knew did head downunder. I remember another guy who was a pretty good guitar player, but his singing was hampered because of missing front teeth. Can't remember his name though.
