The reporter did a good job of making that link. However, I think it might be difficult to take any legal action now in that matter. It's been a while since I've read the whole Ward judgement, but if I remember correctly Ward concluded that TF's leadership did acknowledge Berg's role in the wrongdoing (was it in Peter's letter to the judge?) and he accepted their assurances that things had changed so that the child was at no risk by being raised in TF.
We know that TF's witnesses lied to and withheld documents from the court. The judge himself found that. We also know that ultimately they completely disregarded any findings and directions of Justice Ward, so it's no surprise that rather than denounce Berg as instructed by the court, they continue to esteem him as their beloved founder who now sits at the right hand of Jesus issuing directives on the minutia of their lives. Perhaps I'm wrong, but unfortunately, I don't think there is much that can now be done about this particular flagrant disregard of the law. This does serve, however, as one more example of how TF believes it is above obeying the laws of man.
