Some quotations from the article:
"Houston attorney Valorie Davenport ... serves on the board of a Family-operated company that distributes books and videos, but she says she's strictly a Family advocate and not a member. (Her brother Jeff Wells is a first-generation member.)"
"Members referred questions to Borowik or Davenport."
"Davenport says she's unaware of Berg's writings on incest, rape and child pornography. However, these writings have been public record for years."
Davenport can deny she's a member all she wants, but she is an official spokesperson for TFI. If it walks and talks like a cultee it probably is.
If she is acting in a legal capacity for TF then it is her duty to inform herself regarding that organization. Saying she is unaware of Berg's writings on those subjects is either professional dishonesty or professional incompetence.
If I was an American citizen living in Texas I would probably report her to the legal body she belongs to.
