Actually I'm more into magic rather than clowning. Plus I don't do shopping malls or have stands at malls and have signs up about things. I do paid shows only for department stores, the government, big hotels etc. Being a big nose in Asia means we can charge more than the locals. I'm a minor celibrity here due to being on TV a lot. Not that that means too much really, it's more the white skin and big nose aspect.
My kids speak the language where we live fluently and get along with the locals very well. This has been a major problem for a lot of family kids in foriegn fields. Don't learn the language, don't like the people where they live etc. All adds up to no good mostly. My oldest 23, studies the local language (mandarin chinese) at a college and is doing very well. One is an English teacher, and the others are finishing up their education. I have 4 other older kids who left the family with their mother in 1983. Unfortunately they haven't done too well. I've been back in touch with them and am trying to mend fences and do what I can to help them out.
