She needs to include a protocol called Informed Consent. What is the nature of her study? What's the basic research question? How will the results be used? Without knowing the answers to these questions, you could provide her with information that is used in a way that is unacceptible to you. For example, is this person also surveying current TFI members? Do you want to participate in a study that compares your experience with that of current TFI members? Maybe so, maybe not, but you have a right to know the nature of the study before giving her information.
She could also use some help with her survey design. There is a substantial difference between people who joined and cult and those who are born into it. Length of time spent in the cult also is important, as longer tenure is likely to be associated with more exposure to abuse. As people on this site say all the time, participants here are a very diverse group. Without some demographic information about group cohort and tenure, it will be difficult to explain the variance in the answers to questions.
This looks like a class project of some sort. If that's the case, she should say so.
