Okay, sorry, I over-simplified. What I was getting at was that most of began with doubts about Berg & Zerby, practices we didn't agree with, doctrines we thot were nutso, & slowly became more ready to leave the Family.
JS has admitted Ricky suffered abuse, calls Maria's writings strange & has said that if Maria has to go to jail for what she's done, so be it.
Sounds like the guy is doing some critical, clear thinking that will eventually lead him out of the Family. He's just not quite there yet.
