How to bold or italicize words

I've noticed that hardly any posters have taken advantage of our handy features even though they've been available for some time, & that is making words bold or italicized. I'll leave spaces in the commands this time to show how it's done.

Typing these commands < b > bold < / b > (but with the commands together) will make a word bold.

Typing these commands < i > italics < / i > will italicize words.

Just remember to close the commands at the end with < / i > or the entire post following the < i > will be italicized.
