James, my impression from the start was that you were being genuine with us. Either way, you're a real person behind those words. That's one thing I like about this site, the regular posters here are all very different and have very diverse points of view and still remain friends, or at least civil for the most part.
There's something in the things you say in your various posts that remind me of myself in the final few years in TF and a few years after leaving. I agree with the sentiments expressed by someone somewhere in all these messages directed at you, that for someone who is doing the kind of thinking that you're doing it may be only a matter of time before you realize you and especially your children don't need TF.
Of course, the decision is always yours, but I think the outcome will depend a lot on what kinds of questions you ask yourself in that internal dialogue we all carry on. One good question you might ask yourself is why has doubting always been, from the beginning until today, a major sin in TF? How you approach a simple question like that will determine which path you take. For example, if you deny the premise of the question then your thinking will tend toward a closed mind on many issues, but if you sincerely search for an answer to the question you may find it opens entire new perspectives and options for you.
