[Coordinator: I realize the following is religious in nature and so may need to be moved to Journeys. I post it here because it is my genuine response to a current Family member's post that is linked to here. Might I suggest that if anyone wants to discuss the significance of the passage I cite from Proverbs as it applies to TF that they take that discussion to Journeys?]
Ok, I know a few jaws will drop when they see me quoting the Bible, maybe even think it hypocritical, but when I read the post by Come And See (CAS) linked to above, the phrase "smooth as butter" came to mind. I dusted off my Bible and used its concordance, and found a couple of verses to choose from. The one I like best as applied to CAS's post is Proverbs 5:3 "For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil;" I imagine the Bible scholars among us will find something to chew on in the whole passage from 1 to 14. And I'm not being facetious, I mean that in the kindest way.
