James, you may want to go there and chat with some other SG, that is if you are second generation born into the family. You might want to ask them how widespread abuse was and how it is today. Pay attn. to how many were abused AFTER the charter was put in place. Also, have you read Maria's Summit Jewels letter where she talked about people not getting the wrong idea about Berg, that there was nothing wrong with what was done in the past just that people needed to be careful now for survival's sake?
