Clark, I guess it all depends on what type of home shepherds you had in your home? I know some are stuck in the past while others have a bit more of an open mind when it comes to things not mandatory in the Charter. Of course, we'll read GN's at devotions, and some folks in the home may use the keys or spirit helper names more then others. I like to still use the Lords name, see no reason why not, since he is the mediator between God and man. I'm not really even quite sure why Maria needs all these spirit helpers, or why we need them other then maybe she needs something to write about or help her for some reason or another? I can think of tons of other subjects that she should address to help us have better homes and gardens, oops I mean missionary work. Sitting around and praying to the spirits all the time can be a time waster, but I do think most put it into context, and also discuss matters. Paying a bill, driving the car doesn’t require a spirit helper; it requires angels of protection and common sense. I also think at meetings like the one you mentioned, the organisers and leaders may tend to push more prayer and hearing from the spirit realm more, to seem to be doers of the Word. And, there are Family members who read every word in a GN and believe its 100% Gods word, not fellable or open to personal interpretation or maybe even just theory. But then, you know all that.
