BECAUSE THOUGH THE OBEY-OR-ELSE IDEAS IN THE BIBLE ARE SIMPLE, THE KJV BIBLE IS WRITTEN IN OLD, ARCHAIC, HARD-TO-UNDERSTAND ELIZABETHAN ENGLISH, THAT'S WHY!! You need a modern Prophet to put God's Word into plain speech for today. Now does that answer your question?
AND BY THE WAY, while we're on the subject, I hope none of you Family members listening are reading any other version than the anointed King James Version! All these modern versions of the Bible are the mere works of man! Only the KJV is directly inspired, translated by believing men in beautiful, poetic, inspiring Elizabethan English, in a day when heretics were burned at the stake for doubting!
So there you have it: You are under orders to use ONLY the old English version of the KVJ, but because it's so hard to understand, you need me to explain it in modern English.
