I think he guessed he got a throat infection from performing oral sex on a woman & tried to burn it out with 40 or 50 bottles of sherry. I don't know if he went to the doctor for that tho. That was back in the 70's.
But before he died in the 1990's he went to a hospital. There was an ML about that.
