I thought I was joining the Ananda Marga! And it turned out to be Christian cult. I was actually hoping for a bit of sex when I joined but it was sooo straightlaced. We were strictly segregated. Only inspirational hugging was allowed. Then bam! And the strings attached to be allowed to have sex were that you had to have it with people you didn't want to have it with. A stranger was controlling your sex life.
Sex Slave was not in the ad when I applied for the position! I take my hat off to the people who stuck it out for as long as they did. I was ready to face the wrath of God for leaving as I thought it couldn't be any worse than remaining.
