just to be clear - I'm referring to the last sentence:
Maybe I’m actually better off thinking on my own & coming to my own conclusions, even if I end up disagreeing with them! It might even be proof that I’m doing my OWN critical thinking.
Just that we are all better off thinking for ourselves. All the rest of the stuff is the writer's opinion, whatever that is.
