It may surprise you to hear this (coming from me, aka nemesis), but I think you've done quite an admirable job raising nine children. That's not an easy thing to do under the best of circumstances. It seems clear to me that no matter how messed up your head got with cult brainwashing, you did the very best you could to take care of your kids.
One of your best/worst traits (imho) is your stubborn hard-headedness. This is what helped protect your kids and this is what got you to where you are today. However, stubborn hard-headed women are IMPOSSIBLE to slap silly, and no one will ever be able to knock sense into you. Whenever you wise up, it's because you get there on your own steam, in your own way, and on your own terms.
Yes, there's still your oldest daughter stuck in the cult, but her story isn't done being told. She is, after all, her mother's daughter. Maybe also a bit stubborn & hard-headed? That's not necessarily a bad thing. One day she also will leave TFI. Time is on your side.
