People are politicizing this for their own agenda and that is pathetic. Pull out your checkbooks - we did and gave $50 today. It may not be much, but our radio stations got together and by mid afternoon, our town raised $250,000 and they aren't done- how about your town all you complainers and conspiracy theorists?
And on the subject of the levee, I listened to a scientist from a university who stated that the money probably would not have helped matters anyway as what broke is not what they were going to do repairs on - so all this bruhaha about the money is the people who hate bush and America so much they are gleefully getting on a bandwagon, just drooling and loving it to find Bush and the government at fault. I think that's sick.
What people fail to realize is what makes Ameirca great - it is not the government and never has been, it's the people - and watch the people - see what they are doing now they are banding together and getting the job done.
