they have the national guard on every corner and have basically restored order, they got an astronomical people out and into stadiums, shelters, etc. When you think about it, it's just too overwhelming. I don't know what happened for 5 days, but it sounds to me like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. A lot was resting on the governors, mayors, etc., and they seemed to have been not up to the task.
It's incredible when you think that a million people left and were taken in by families, churches, shelters, etc. and the remaining 200,000 people are being shifted into whole new cities. Baton Rouge jumped in population about 200,000 - that's just too much to think about. I can barely imagine.
