Abuse in the JWs

Apparently, having child protection policies in place and claiming to "... abide by the letter of the law as far as legal requirements are in reporting to the appropriate child-welfare services" still doesn't ensure that the policies are enacted or that legal requirements are followed through, especially in religious organizations that give only lip service to temporal authorities.
