Also try out MSN's http://virtualearth.msn.com (you don't need to install any software to use it). It's still incomplete and in testing, but later this year they'll include photos from small aircraft at a 45 degree angle (in addition to the straight-down satellite photography) for some cities. At the moment it would be more fitting to call it Virtual USA, but again that's something they're aparently working on and international imagery will be up later.
