My only defense is that I am all too human.
In public, I act different and follow the rules; on this site, I test boundaries and try to unload my frustration. It can be ugly---isn't circumsision ugly, too? But, apparently, it has healthy, disease preventative attributes.
The Bible, too, tests boundaries, as does art, and we are, hopefully, able to understand such distinctions.
Were I to meet Mr. Chancellor, I would be polite and follow society's rules of decorum, no doubt, I would apologise to his wife for besmirching her reputation on this site by linking her with the Family, as a former cult member.
But, perhaps he does not wish to meet someone like me, who swears and seems to have a sense of self-loathing; I, too am extremely uncomfortable in the company of religious moralists who don't swear from time to time and defend sex cults.
So, I guess we are even.
