I'm not very fond of Chancellor either, but I do think he's a step above Gorden Meltdown who's no more than a paid whore. Chancellor is correct in that he's tried to show both sides. He's correct in saying that he's actually talked about the sexual abuse that happened in the group.
However ....
Instead of speaking from a position of moral outrage, instead of unceasingly seeking out and documenting the victims no longer in the community, he's too comfortable talking about the abuse being in the past. And how can you be "fair" to both sides when one side is the oppressive, abusive and lying side & the other side is the victims.
But touting himself as an expert & then not showing the horror that was in the Family, by coddling the Family, by chatting to Peter & not recognizing this is a dictator he's talking to, Chancellor is doing a great deal of damage.
He thinks he's being fair & impartial but it's like being fair & impartial to the Mafia.
