Your first paragraph is pretty true. John Kennedy was more a conservative than sometimes Bush is. It's all very confusing. I consider myself more a neocon and at the same time with drifts of libertarian. I also think the democratic party changed drastically from when I was voting democrat, but most people haven't figured that out yet. I chose a party only because I have to, I don't feel I fit into any of them. Kind of like religion.
